Suddenly realized I haven’t written anything in ages (/ω＼), so I’m dropping by to scribble a bit and prove I’m still alive!

Lately it’s been a straight line between office–classroom–canteen–dorm. Because the students at my school are pretty unruly, basically whenever I’m in the teaching building I’m either giving class or chasing kids to make them do homework. No time to write code, no time to think about articles; day after day, that’s why the blog hasn’t been updated.

On Thursday I took the students on a spring outing: in the morning we picked tea leaves together, in the afternoon I rode the roller coaster six or seven times with them and almost threw up on the bus back—added a bit of fun to the dull routine 😎.

The happiest thing recently was finally getting a new phone! Switched to an iPhone 15 Pro; my previous one was an iPhone 8 Plus bought when I started college, and after six loyal years it’s retiring to backup-phone status. Also have to gripe about Apple: in the name of “environmentalism” they don’t include a charger, so I had to go buy one myself 👎.
