After the exam ended this afternoon, I took a look at Tencent Cloud CDN and was pleasantly surprised to see today’s traffic had hit 0.5 GB—could my site finally be getting real visitors?
Then I checked the request count—oh~ turns out my site was being hammered during the exam. [DarkBText]A wave of disappointment washed over me[/DarkBText] First strike at 09:45, second wave from 11:30 to 16:33, though the request volume seemed oddly low…

Okay, let’s peek at the logs: it’s the buddy at IP 113.104.129.111 hitting hard—1,159 refreshes in one minute; that hand speed is insane.

Hope this guy stops refreshing; I’ve already dropped the IP access threshold to 50 QPS—same IP can only hit 50 times per second now. Probably useless though. If he keeps up this intensity I’ll consider blacklisting the IP. Besides, 85 % of requests from the same IP return 404 pages—pretty pointless, right? ~~
