Today is the last day of 2022. Following tradition, this post will sum up everything that happened this year, good or bad, as a way to commemorate the year that is about to pass.
💊 Pandemic
As you can see, the country opened up completely at the end of the year; everything came so suddenly and so quickly, even though we knew it would happen eventually.
I, too, unfortunately got infected on the second-to-last day of 2022. Even though I wore full protection every time I went out and sprayed myself head-to-toe with alcohol before stepping inside, I still fell just short of the “final circle.” I ran a 38 °C fever during the day and 39 °C at night, plus waves of headache, sore throat, and loss of taste that kept me from resting at all. I wrote this article lying in bed, leaving a not-so-pleasant memory for my future self 😂. The only upside after testing negative is that I can probably hang out with friends during New Year—although I already have friends who are on their second infection.
While browsing other people’s blogs I also came across a rather sensible paragraph.
In the end, it’s still the same three-year-old mantra: wear a mask, wash your hands often. I hope classmates who are infected recover soon, and those who haven’t been infected or have already turned negative stay healthy.
🎓 Graduation
In June this year I graduated from university. During college I looked forward to having spare money after entering society to buy the things I liked; after stepping into society I miss the joy of campus life. In those four years I met so many interesting souls. Although the campus was often locked down, I at least experienced the university life of my dreams in 2018–19.
The last time I walked out of the dorm and said goodbye to my roommates still feels surreal. Whenever I see news about the CET-4 and CET-6 exams I suddenly remember that I’m no longer a college student.
🐱 Kitty
After graduation I adopted a cat. Although she yells at night, at first she relieved herself everywhere, at night she learned to open the door and jump onto the bed to sleep, and during the day she naps on the keyboard…
Sneaking in a selfie of the kitty (authorized by the kitty herself!)

📖 Learning
I wrote tons of scripts this year—some for friends, some originally for myself that I later shared, including ad-filtering scripts, Bilibili feature enhancements, Baidu search optimizations, and so on. I also wrote several APIs that are now open to all friends in my blogroll; calls from their domains won’t hit CORS issues, and there’s CDN plus database caching, so response should be fast. Thanks to @火喵—a lot of my cross-site testing was done on Huomiao’s site 😂.
You can read about the API here:
At the same time, I generated loads of anime-style images with AI, like the header image of this post. I can’t help but marvel at how amazing AI is nowadays.
✨ Blog
Mid-year I switched blog themes; the current one is quite a bit faster than the old one.
In terms of posts, I wrote 15 articles this year and shared more fun stuff with everyone. Hope we can keep having fun together in the new year~

🚀 Goals for ’23
There’s only one goal for 2023: stay healthy.
When I look back at the end of 2023, I hope I can proudly say to myself: I accomplished that goal!
I wish the same for you, dear reader.
