These days, I reinstalled a friend's computer and found that Baidu's ads are really, really excessive when downloading the original software. Even with an ad-blocking script installed, some targeted promotions for search keywords still show up.

These promotions take up a huge amount of space, and you have to scroll down more to see the content below. Plus, with ads like related videos and bestsellers across the web, it's not just unnecessary but also distracting. Fortunately, the ad-blocking script I installed before has a custom style feature, which allows me to use CSS to block those promotions. After searching for various strange keywords overnight, I came up with the following list to block the corresponding promotions. Just paste it into the custom style box of the script and save it.
This blacklist-style blocking might miss some promotions, but you can add the corresponding element's tpl attribute yourself if needed.
Of course, if you prefer a stricter whitelist-style blocking, you can use the following method and add your own whitelist in the same way.
Here are some before-and-after comparisons of the search pages:

Search Keyword: Steam

Search Keyword: Cold Symptoms
After blocking, the search pages look much cleaner, and you no longer have to deal with those pervasive promotions.
